Guests can bring their food and drinks, or we can provide snacks and beverage service at your request when you book your trip. Simply notify us beforehand of what your party requires, and our crew will happily accommodate you.

2. What kind of fish can we catch?

Depending on the season, your catch could include sailfish, marlin, tuna, wahoo, kingfish, Spanish mackerel, dolphin (mahi-mahi), grouper, hogfish, yellowtail, red snapper, amberjack, cobia, redfish, black drum, pompano, shark, and many other game fish.

3. What can we do with our fish?

Our Captain will happily clean and fillet your catch when you return to the marina. We can also arrange to have your fish frozen and vacuum-packed, then sent to your home by a local shipper. If you want to preserve your trophy catch, we can arrange to have your fish mounted by an expert taxidermist at your request.

4. What is the etiquette for tipping?

The crew works hard to provide you with the best charter experience; tips are their primary salary. Gratuities are very much appreciated. While tipping is at your discretion, the average charter tip is at least 20% of the charter price.

5. What if I don't have fishing rods, tackle, or bait?

We provide everything you need, including premium PENN rods, top-of-the-line tackle, and the best local baits and rigs for your target gamefish. You’re welcome to bring your gear, but we’ll ensure you have high-quality equipment onboard.

6. Do I need a Florida fishing license?

We’ve got your licensing covered. We understand many visitors are from out-of-state, and nobody wants to waste vacation time acquiring a license. You can come aboard anytime and catch any fish in season without the hassle of obtaining a separate license.

As per U.S. Coast Guard regulations, we can accommodate up to six (6) passengers. Hate 2 Lose is a private party boat (not a headboat), allowing us to focus on providing personalized service to our guests.

There is no minimum age requirement or age limit; our charters are fun for all ages! We are a family-friendly operation, and our crew is great with kids. Our boat is equipped to comfortably accommodate family, friends, and fishing buddies.

9. What should we bring to the charter?

We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and comfortable clothing suited for the weather. Additionally, getting a camera to capture your fishing adventure and exciting catches is always a good idea!
